"As usual, Jobard's 2022 Bourgogne Blanc derives from a parcel just above Grivault's Clos des Perrières that's surrounded by Meursault's greatest premier cru but whose origins mean that it's only allowed the regional appellation. Exhibiting aromas of peach, sweet orchard fruit, buttery pastry and citrus, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and suave, with a concentrated core of fruit and lively acids. It's the insider's choice in the range, and I'm probably underscoring it."
