A cooler vintage that let Ausone's limestone terroir sing – this 2017 Chapelle dazzles with precision over power. Think redcurrant filigree, rose petal, and a striking crushed chalk minerality that carries through the endless finish (JS 95pts, WA 94pts). The higher Cabernet Franc proportion (45%) gives this an almost Burgundian tension – all finesse and energy, making it perfect now with duck breast or cellar-worthy through 2040. A testament to how second wines from elite estates can eclipse many grand vins in challenging years.

Free UK Delivery on all orders over £250 (excluding Central Scotland, Highlands and Islands). Orders below £250 incur a £18 delivery fee.

London - Orders placed by the 19th (12 PM) will be delivered on Monday, the 22nd.

Outside London - Order Placed by Wed 17th (12 PM) for delivery before Christmas (excluding Central Scotland, Highlands and Islands).

All orders placed after these dates will be arranged when our warehouse reopens on the 5th of January.
