Everything here is handcrafted in small batches, with no heavy-handed tricks – just grapes and terroir.

With our first shipment safely landed in our UK warehouse, we want to give you first dibs on her vibrant wines before they go live on our platform.

We are just an email away if you have any questions.

THE RANGE

The Pinots are ethereal with a solid backbone, while the Blancs burst with fruit and bright acidity. Within the range, the Clos de Renardes is unquestionably Fanny’s darling – coming from a walled vineyard shaded by forest in the heart of Beaune. "There's something magical here," Fanny remarked when describing it. The seamless texture perfectly frames the gorgeous wild fruit from these old Pinot vines.

Another standout in Rouge is the electric Savigny-lès-Beaune, showing perfectly integrated reduction that lifts the bright fruit, delivering a linear, mouth-watering wine you won’t want to stop drinking.

For whites, the "Les Prévolles" (from a lieu-dit between Beaune and Pommard) knocked it out of the park during our tasting – dense and immediately pleasurable, punching way above its village ranking. Amazing value white Burgundy to bathe in during the summer heat.

MORE ABOUT FANNY SABRE

In her 20s, Fanny initially studied law but switched to winemaking after her father’s passing to care for her family’s vines in Beaune. What her father left her was a small patchwork of vines in some of Beaune’s most exciting terroirs, including the "Clos des Renardes" – one of the region’s hidden gems. With Philippe Pacalet as her mentor, Fanny Sabre embraced the principles of natural Burgundy winemaking: fermenting with native yeasts, using little to no sulfites, and avoiding filtration or fining before bottling. Whole clusters are pressed, with vinification in old barrels to preserve the natural phenolics and floral nuances of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Over the past twenty years, Fanny has perfected her approach with one goal in mind – to make pure, vibrant wines meant for drinking and pairing with great food and even better company. It’s an ideal we share and advocate for here at Wine Source, in a wine market that could use less speculation and more genuine enjoyment.
