A historic debut – Juliette Alpis (Bérêche cousin and Beaune-trained prodigy) unveils the potential of this legendary Ludes monopole with her first solo act. From 60-year-old vines rooted in chalk so shallow you can taste the bedrock, this still white Champagne is anything but quiet – a solar-powered symphony of passionfruit, lemon confit, and marzipan, with Chardonnay-Muscaté clones adding an exotic flutter (and a solid 92pts from Galloni on Vinous). The 2022 vintage’s warmth gifts it a textural embrace, while that classic Ludes acidity keeps it dancing on the palate. With only 880 bottles produced (and just a mere 36 allocated to the UK market), this is both a truly unicorn white and a tantalising preview of the estate’s future vintage Champagne (arriving 2027).

All orders placed after these dates will be arranged when our warehouse reopens on the 5th of January.
