They don’t call it the “Super Second” for nothing. The 2019 Léoville Las Cases is a legendary wine in the making, as the 99+ score from Lisa Perrotti-Brown suggests. A breathtaking blend of power and precision that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its First Growth neighbours. It erupts from the glass with a seductive perfume of crème de cassis, black cherry compote, and violets, woven together with classic notes of cigar wrapper, pencil lead, and a flicker of star anise.

The palate is where the magic happens - intense, layered, and tightly wound, with a deep core of mineral-laced fruit supported by an incredible frame of powdery, fine-grained tannins. While it’s a thrill to taste now with a long decant, this is a cellar treasure that will truly blossom after 2035 and thrill for decades. Pair it with a herb-crusted rib of beef for a truly majestic experience.

Free UK Delivery on all orders over £250 (excluding Central Scotland, Highlands and Islands). Orders below £250 incur a £18 delivery fee.

London - Orders placed by the 19th (12 PM) will be delivered on Monday, the 22nd.

Outside London - Order Placed by Wed 17th (12 PM) for delivery before Christmas (excluding Central Scotland, Highlands and Islands).

All orders placed after these dates will be arranged when our warehouse reopens on the 5th of January.
